IBD Support Group - Evening
We have all experienced such a surreal time the past three years since we last met for our education and support group meeting in January 2020. We have been unable to meet in person within our hospital setting but we are looking forward to connecting once again. We are now doing virtual meetings moving forward.

IBD Support Group - Daytime
This is a daytime support group for people whose lives have been severely affected by inflammatory bowel diseases such as Crohn's and Ulcerative Colitis. This group will take place at Mount Sinai Hospital and will meet for one and a half hour in the afternoon.
The facilitators are Brenda O'Connor RN and Sabine Finkenauer, MSW.

IBD Support Network
Support groups offer very valuable contact with others who share a common illness experience. Mount Sinai Hospital's IBD Support groups provide and professionally facilitate support.
Daytime Support Group
This is a daytime support group for people whose lives have been affected by inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) such as Crohn's and Ulcerative Colitis. This group takes place at Mount Sinai Hospital and meets for one and a half hours in the afternoon.
The facilitators are Brenda O'Connor RN, Department of Surgery, and our IBD inpatient social worker Sabine Finkenauer.

IBD Support Network
This evening meeting offers educational talks and informal networking opportunities for people with Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn's Disease.

The IBD Support Network is organized by a volunteer patient/family steering committee with participation from health professionals.
Community Support Groups
Many local chapters of the Crohn's and Colitis Canada offer monthly educational talks. These are not intended to be support groups, but there is often opportunity for informal discussion and to make new contacts after the talks.
Ostomy Toronto
Affiliated with the United Ostomy Association, Ostomy Toronto has a monthly program of education and discussion.
