General Surgeon

Dr. Helen MacRaeDr. MacRae received a B.Sc. and M.D. from the University of Alberta. She did her General Surgery training in Alberta, as well. Following this, she spent two years in the Colorectal Surgery Program at the University of Toronto, before joining the faculty in January 1997. Most recently, she completed a mini-sabbatical in laproscopic surgery at the Wellesley Hospital.


Dr. MacRae's clinical interests are in the areas of inflammatory bowel disease, and laproscopic colon surgery. Her research interests are in the field of surgical education.
